Spring Is In The Air

We had dinner with friends this spring-like Sunday evening.

It was wonderful to wear only a lightweight navy linen jacket from Appleseed's with a white tank top and khaki zip ankle pants from Chico's. The sunglasses are by Kenneth Cole Reaction from T.J. Maxx. I found the Anne Klein Sport sandals at T.J.Maxx. The bag is by Coach from their outlet in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.

I am beginning to feel a bit frumpy in my winter clothes and look forward with enthusiasm to even a taste of spring. Alas, I will have to live through your pictures and enjoy your spring wardrobe. We are looking at another large snowfall on Wednesday and the temps haven't gone above 35 in weeks (and that was considered balmy.)

This has been such a difficult winter that I can't wait to bring out my spring/summer things and fashion them in new ways. Your outfits are certainly an inspiration!

You look beautiful!

I never seem to have much luck at TJ Maxx, but I love Ross.

It is a pleasure to see you wearing beautiful sandals . Even here at Mediterranean we don't dare out of boots.
I like your blue linen jacket ,the khaki pants and especially your hoop earrings. Very flattering !
Have a nice springtime.!

After finding your blog, I feel rejuvenated. You are absolutely gorgeous and I thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas.

My question is how to still look fabulous in FLATS! After years of living in heels, I can no longer wear them. We all know that shoes can make or break an outfit. Heels just make you feel better, better posture, and just look darn good.
What are your suggestions for looking good in flats.
Help and thanks! Also, I apologize if this posted twice. We had a glich when submitting comment.

Joy, I am also learning to wear flats. After a lifetime of high heels my body is complaining loudly each time I wear them for more than an hour. Pointed toes and a longer vamp help to make my legs look longer and are easier for me to walk in. I tend to walk out of those little ballet slippers with round toes. They also do not have enough structure or support. Hope this helps! Thank you for your comment.

You look so fresh in your spring outfit, even tho it's not officially here. After the winter we've had, it's good to see some pretty things. Whoever does your pedi does a wonderful job. All part of the good grooming package!
